About Us

About WVRWF

WVRWF holds monthly meetings with informative guest speakers. These meetings vary between luncheons and dinners in order to accommodate our many working women. Members meet more frequently if they are part of one of our Standing Committees, such as: Voter Registration, Troop Support, Caring for America, Newsletter, Legislation, Literacy, and Fundraising.

Annual dues are $50 for active membership, $20 for students and $25 for associate members.

We have more than 130 members from both sides of the county lines, representing all ages, ethnicities, and economic backgrounds, who are united in one purpose--to promote Republican ideals through political advocacy and electing good candidates.

We also have a Book Club, An Elephant Never Forgets, spearheaded by our own Julia Bach.  We meet once each month and take turns hosting.  We read books from a variety of topics, from politics to history to fictional entertainment.  Our discussions are lively and FUN!

If you want the company of well-informed GOP women, who also like to have fun-then please join us!

 Our History

In October 2001, ten visionary women banded together and created Westlake Village Republican Women Federated (WVRWF). Susan Ash was our founding President. She was subsequently followed by Maria Sanchez, Stephany Walsh, Ellen Burson, Debra Lorier, Gail Wilburn,  Charlie Barnes, Marti Gonzales, Daryl Reynolds, and our current President Dale Thomas.  Since its inception, our club has been actively working to support positive political advocacy and placing women in leadership positions.
